I've just been prescribed Amethyst 90-20mcg Tablets for birth control and I'm a bit nervous. I've heard that some people experience a lot of side effects, but others have no problems at all. I want to know what to expect. Can anyone who has taken Amethyst 90-20mcg Tablets share their experiences? I've read the possible side effects and I'm especially worried about the more severe ones, like blood clots or mood changes. I take my health seriously and I want to make the right decision. Should I be worried or is this medication generally safe and effective? How did you know if the side effects were getting serious?

I had a similar reaction when I came off my old birth control and switched to Amethyst. Don't stress too much, everyones body is different. It just takes time for your body to get used to it. Just keep an eye on any changes and if you feel really bad, talk to your doctor.

I switched to Amethyst and noticed some weight gain but I've heard it can also help with acne so there's that. My periods are super light now, which is a plus. Just be aware of the symptoms for blood clots. If you feel really out of the ordinary, go see your doctor. Don't wait for it to blow over.

I've been taking Amethyst for a year now and I've had no issues. I'm pretty regular with it.

I’ve been on Amethyst for about six months now and I’ve had a few minor side effects like headaches and mild nausea, but nothing too bad. I've had an ok experience, but I really wish someone had told me about the spotty periods before I started taking it. It's been rough.

It's so annoying that these pills make you skip periods. I feel like I have more bloating and weird periods now, but I didn't have that with my last pill

Ive read that Amethyst can cause gallbladder problems too. What else is there to worry about? Does anyone have anything else to add to this list? One too many scary things and I might go back to condoms.
