Hi everyone, I've just been prescribed Otrexup for severe rheumatoid arthritis and I'm really nervous about starting it. Has anyone here used this medication? I'm particularly concerned about the side effects, especially the rare but serious ones. My doctor assured me that the benefits outweigh the risks, but I'd love to hear from others who have been through this. How did you find the injection process? Were there any side effects that caught you off guard? Are there any tips for managing them? I need all the info I can get—thank you in advance!

I've been on Otrexup for a year now. My rheumatologist advised me to take folic acid supplements to help with side effects. It's made a huge difference and I have minimal side effects. I know it's scary starting this medication, but it's manageable.

I started Otrexup a few months ago and it's been a game-changer for my RA. The injection is easy once you get the hang of it. Just make sure to rotate your injection sites to avoid irritation. As for side effects, I had some mild nausea at first, but that went away. Make sure to stay hydrated and take it easy on the day of your injection.

I had no idea this medication could cause liver problems. That's scary stuff. I'm glad my doctor is monitoring my liver function regularly. It's definitely something to keep an eye on.

I've had a few panic attacks because I wake up in the middle of the night with leg pain and swelling. I'm pretty sure it's from the Otrexup.
