Has anyone had experience with Panretin 0.1% Gel for treating skin lesions caused by Kaposi's sarcoma? I've been prescribed it but I'm curious about side effects and how it compares to other treatments. I've read about some serious side effects, but it's hard to know how likely they are to occur. Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I was prescribed Panretin a while back, and it worked well for me. My lesions reduced in size and number. However, I did experience some numbness and tingling at the application site, which was unusual. I'd recommend keeping an eye on any abnormal sensations, especially since Kaposi's sarcoma is already a challenging condition.

I used Panretin for a short period, and while it was effective, the tingling sensation around the affected area was very hard to deal with. It was bearable, but I had to quit the treatment. I'd suggest trying it and seeing how it affects you.

I think the side effects listed are pretty serious. I'd make sure to report any issues immediately to both your doctor and the FDA. You can also submit a report online at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch.

I've read that some people experience severe allergic reactions. I'd be careful and make sure to consult with your doctor immediately if you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, hives, or trouble breathing. Safety first!
