Newly prescribed Alprazolam ER 0.5mg Tablets for Panic Disorder - Side Effects and Experiences

I’ve had a friend who had to go to the ER for an allergic reaction. It was terrifying. He had hives and trouble breathing, and it was clear that he needed immediate medical attention. If you experience anything like that, go to the ER right away. Don’t wait it out.

I’m on a lower dose and it’s been okay, but I have heard from my friends whose dosage is higher than 0.5mg that it can cause more issues. Just be open with your doctor about how you’re feeling and how the meds are affecting you, okay?

Same here, the drowsiness was a bummer but it got better after a while. I wish I had known about the erotic dreams too, lmao.

My doctor warned me about the potential for depression and suicidal thoughts. Luckily, I haven't experienced that, but it's something to be aware of. If you or someone you know starts feeling that way, get help immediately.

My doctor switched me to a different medication and it's been much better. Don't suffer through bad side effects, it's worth talking to your doctor about alternatives.
