I was recently prescribed Zegalogue for severe hypoglycemia. It's an injectable medicine that's supposed to help quickly raise my blood sugar levels. I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and changes in blood pressure. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear your experiences, both good and bad. Specifically, I'd like to know if the injection sites cause any problems, and if anyone has dealt with more severe side effects.

I'd be careful with this one. I had a bad reaction to another diabetes med and ended up in the hospital. The injection sites can be really tough, so start slow and see how your body reacts

I had a friend who used it and saw a lot of pain in the injection site. It got so bad that they had to switch to something else.

My doctor told me to report any side effects to the FDA. Just call 1-800-332-1088 or visit https://www.fda.gov/medwatch. It only takes a couple minutes and they can track patterns and alert other patients.

I’ve had pretty good luck with this one. I’ve had a couple of bad reactions but nothing too serious. But I do keep a close eye on my symptoms, just in case.
