I've been trying to quit smoking for what feels like forever, and I finally decided to give Nicotine 4mg Mint Gum 20s a shot. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I've had some success, but I've also experienced some side effects that I wasn't expecting. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this product – what has your experience been like? I've been chewing the gum according to the instructions, and while it has helped with the cravings, I've noticed some gum changes and mouth tingling that I wasn't prepared for. I've also had some trouble sleeping and bad dreams, which is a bit worrisome – wonder how common this is?

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I'm hopeful that this will be the method that helps me quit for good. Let's discuss the pros and cons, any tips you have for using this product, and all the side effects you've encountered. I'd love to hear your stories and advice!

UPDATE: I'm really struggling with the side effects. The gum changes and mouth tingling are becoming more pronounced. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm on my third pack and I'm still getting jaw pain. I'm wondering if it's worth the cost for me I need to cut my loses now.

Have you tried using a nicotine patch in conjunction with the gum? I've found that using both can help with the worst of the withdrawal symptoms. Highly recommend trying it out if the gum alone isn't working for you.

You can check https://www.fda.gov/medwatch to report this. I had a friend have an allergic reaction to the gum and she needed to see a doctor right away. It was scary, so please do take it seriously.

This is why I couldn't quit with this gum. I routinely got a sore throat, and mouth tingling that would last for hours. I had to switch to a different method. Not saying it's for everyone, but it wasn't for me.

I used this gum for about two months, and it worked wonders for me. I had some gum changes and mouth tingling, but nothing too bad. I'm glad I stuck with it, and I'm proud to say I'm smoke-free now!

If you're having trouble sleeping, try not to use the gum too close to bedtime. The nicotine can keep you awake, and the dreams can be pretty intense. I've had some really weird experiences with them.

I found that chewing the gum too quickly made the side effects worse. Try chewing it for a full 30 minutes at a time, and see if that helps with the discomfort.
