I was prescribed Nimotop 30mg Capsules after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The doctor explained that it helps prevent brain damage by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. However, I'm a bit worried about the possible side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, good or bad. Also, any tips on managing side effects would be greatly appreciated. From my understanding, you should seek medical help right away if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, severe dizziness, or abnormal heartbeat. Has anyone had to report side effects to the FDA? I hope I don't have to, but it's good to be prepared.

I hope everyone takes precautions with this one. The side effects are worth it to prevent long-term damage. Has anyone else worried about something serious happening?

I heard my doctor mention something about the importance of monitoring blood pressure while on this medication. Has anyone else been told this?

I think it's great that you're being proactive about your health! Keep an eye on those side effects and don't hesitate to call your doctor if something doesn't feel right.

I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage a few years ago, but I wasn't given Nimotop. What's the difference between this and the usual protocols? I wonder if it's something they prescribed recently.

My mom was on Nimotop and she had some swelling in her legs. The doctor said it was a side effect and adjusted her dosage. It's important to stay in touch with your healthcare provider.

I was on Nimotop after my subarachnoid hemorrhage and I didn't experience any severe side effects. Just some mild headaches that went away after a few days. Fingers crossed you have the same experience!

I had to deal with a tight chest and swelling in my face. It was scary, but I called the hospital and they said its rare, and they told me to stop it. Its been 8 months and I have had a full recovery.
