I've been on Ninlaro (ixazomib) 4mg capsules for a few months now to treat my multiple myeloma. It's been a journey, and I wanted to share my experiences and side effects with others who might be going through the same thing. Ninlaro works by blocking the proteasome in cancer cells, which helps slow down or stop the cancer's growth. However, like any medication, it comes with its own set of side effects. I've had some mild to moderate issues, but nothing too severe. I wanted to start this thread to discuss our experiences, help each other manage side effects, and hopefully provide some insights for those new to this medication.

I've heard some people say that Ninlaro is worth it despite the side effects, because it really helps with the myeloma. What do you all think? Would you recommend it to someone who is newly diagnosed?

I really want to hear from someone who's been on Ninlaro for a long time, and have any insights on long-term side effects or how the body adapts over time.

Has anyone tried any alternative treatments to manage the gastrointestinal issues? I've been really struggling with constipation and diarrhea.

I know we're all dealing with a lot, but trying to stay positive. It's tough, but when you look back at how far you've come, it makes it worth it.

Has anyone else experienced any vision issues? I’ve been having some strange sensations, like burning and tingling in my eyes, and it's kind of scary.

I've been dealing with fatigue and muscle weakness. It's made it hard to do even simple tasks around the house. Anyone else feeling this way?
