I started taking Niva Thyroid 1.5gr (90mg) Tablets a few months ago to treat my underactive thyroid. I've noticed a significant improvement in my energy levels and overall metabolism. However, I've also experienced some side effects, particularly hair loss, which I know is common but still bothers me. I've heard that it might be temporary, but has anyone else experienced this, or have some tips to deal with it?

I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with this medication and how they've managed side effects. Is hair loss your only concern? Have any of you experienced anything more serious?.

I've been on Niva Thyroid for a while and noticed some strange side effects, but nothing life-threatening. I was really worried about the hair loss at first; I mean, it was turning into a real nightmare. But I mostly focused on the fact that it helped my energy levels and metabolism, which was the goal so I kept going. I notice some others reported hair loss, so I guess if it's the side effect you're most concerned about, you're not alone. The internet suggests using a topical minoxidil for hair growth... but I don't know if that's the answer for everyone

Has anyone else experienced changes in their menstrual periods while on this medication? I've noticed that mine have become irregular, which is really frustrating. I'm not sure if it's a side effect or something else going on. I'm planning to talk to my doctor about it.

I switched to Niva Thyroid from another brand and haven't experienced any major side effects so far. The only thing I noticed is that I sweat more easily in hot weather, but it's manageable. I'd rather deal with that than the constant fatigue I had before. If the hair loss is really bothering you, you might want to talk to your doctor about adjusting the dosage or trying a different brand.

I've only been on Niva Thyroid for a couple of weeks, but I've noticed a big difference in my energy levels. I feel like I can actually get through the day without feeling exhausted. As for side effects, I've had some mild stomach cramps, but nothing too bad. I'm hoping the hair loss doesn't start for me. Fingers crossed!

I feel like I have had this medication shoved down my throat. I've been on it for a while and the side effects are real. My body feels different every day. Some days I feel like I am on the verge of a heart attack. There are plenty of other medicines for thyroid that are natural and have much less side effects.

I've been on this medication for a year now and haven't had any serious side effects. The hair loss was a concern at first, but it stopped after a few months. I've also noticed that my menstrual periods have become more regular, which is a huge plus! I think it's important to give your body time to adjust to the medication and to stay in close contact with your doctor.

I've had some pretty bad side effects from this medication. I've experienced chest pain and shortness of breath, which was really scary. I ended up in the ER and had to switch to a different medication. I would recommend anyone experiencing severe side effects to seek medical attention immediately. No way am I taking these again. These side effects are not worth the risk.

Definitely agree with you on the hair loss. I've struggled with it, and it's really frustrating. I also noticed some mood swings, which were a bit scary at first. But my doctor assured me that it's a common side effect and should ease up over time. I've started journaling to keep track of my moods and it's helped me manage it a bit better. And the hair loss? Well, I'm still keeping an eye on it. It's definitely not a deal breaker in my case, but I am keeping an eye on it

I've been struggling with the mood swings. Some days I feel like I'm on top of the world and other days I feel like I can't get out of bed. It's been tough to manage, but I'm hoping it gets better over time. Just wanted to know if this is a thing anyone else is experiencing.

I've been on Niva Thyroid for a few years now and haven't had any major side effects. I've had some hair loss, but it's not as bad as I've heard from others.
