I was prescribed Norco 5/325mg Tablets for post-surgery pain management and I've been taking them for about a week now. While they have been effective in managing my pain, I've been experiencing some side effects that have me a bit concerned. I've noticed some dizziness and feeling sleepy, but nothing too severe. However, I've also heard from some friends about more serious side effects, which has me worried. I wanted to start this thread to discuss everyone's experiences, especially the range of side effects people might encounter, and see if anyone has tips on how to manage them. I'm also curious about long-term usage and potential risks. Let's share our stories and support each other!

I was really nervous about taking Norco because of the opioid content, but my doctor assured me that it's safe if used as prescribed. I've had minimal side effects so far, just some mild constipation. Just be careful and follow your doctor's instructions. I've also heard that Norco can cause serious breathing problems in some people, especially if you have a history of respiratory issues. If anyone has experience with this, please share.

All opioids mess with your brain chemistry, so be prepared for some mood changes. I felt super irritable and had some weird dreams. Not fun, but it went away once I stopped taking it.

I've been on Norco for a while and the constipation is the worst. Anyone have any tips on managing it?

Seriously, don't mix Norco with other medications without talking to your doctor first. I had a bad reaction when I combined it with an anti-anxiety med. Scary stuff.

If you are experiencing severe side effects, like trouble breathing or a rash, please don't wait—go to the emergency room. I know someone who waited too long and it was really scary.

I took Norco after wisdom teeth removal and it was a game-changer for the pain. No side effects for me, but I've heard horror stories from friends. Just be careful, I guess? It’s crazy how different people react to the same med.

I've been on Norco 5/325mg for a few weeks now and I've noticed some dizziness and feeling sleepy, but I've also had a bit of stomach pain which seems to come and go. I'm not sure if it's the Norco or something else, but it's a bit worrying . Any thoughts? I'm hesitant to ask my doctor about it, but I should probably call. Also, I've heard that long-term use can be dangerous because of the acetaminophen content. Is this true for anyone else? My doctor didn't mention this, but I'm worried about liver damage. I'd love to hear from anyone with similar concerns or experiences.

I had to switch to a different pain medication because the Norco made me feel so disoriented. I couldn't even drive safely. It's a shame because it did help with the pain, but the side effects were too much for me.

Anyone find that Norco makes them super thirsty? I wake up every hour to drink water. It’s weird but at least it’s not as bad as the other side effects. I'm curious if others have had this experience or if it's just me.

I had a really bad experience with Norco. I developed a severe rash and had to stop taking it immediately. Definitely pay attention to any allergic reactions.
