I'm a healthcare professional and I've seen people have reactions to it. It's rare, but it happens.
My doctor said it's important to report any bad reactions to the FDA. It helps them track issues with the solution. I didn't even know we could report those things.
I had a bad reaction it was actually really scary. I started getting tightness in my chest and they had to stop using it.
Did you know that saline solution is used for things other than flushing IVs?
