I've recently started using Novolin N U-100 Flexpen Inj 3ml for managing my diabetes, and I'm curious about other people's experiences with it. I've found that it gets the job done, but the potential side effects can be alarming. Has anyone else used this insulin? How long did it take you to see results? I'm especially interested in hearing about the side effects you've experienced and how you've managed them. I've had a few minor irritations at the injection site, but nothing too serious. I'd love to hear from other users about the injection site lumps I've gotten. Are they a common issue? I've been ensuring that I'm rotating my injection sites as recommended, but I'm still noticing some lumps. Any tips on preventing these? Also, anyone have any exercise tips to manage weight gain, which seems like a common side effect?

I've had some dizziness and fainting spells before, but I've been able to handle them by keeping glucose tablets around. It's not ideal, but it's manageable.

I had a serious allergic reaction to this drug. I started feeling tightness in my throat and had to rush to the ER. Be cautious and keep an eye out for the warning signs.

Honestly, I've had a pretty good experience with Novolin N, but I have had issues with swelling. Has anyone else had that problem? I'm using a cold compress after injections but it doesn't seem to help with swelling.

I had a muscle cramps from the low potassium that was a real nightmare. You have to be very cautious about your diet if you're on this insulin! I had no idea, but I'm glad I figured it out.

Side effects? Sleeping's a new drug for me. It's been wild.

I had a bad experience with this drug, but I think it was more because all those side effects helped me realize I could manage my diabetes with a better diet, not just insulin.

I've been using Novolin N for a couple of years now. The key to managing the lumps is to make your rotating sites very consistent. Also, consider using a cold compress after injecting to reduce irritation.
