I've been prescribed Noxafil 100mg Tablets (Posaconazole) to treat a serious fungal infection, and I wanted to share my experience so far. Posaconazole is an antifungal medicine used to treat or prevent serious fungal infections. It works by stopping the growth of the fungus. The delayed-release tablets are designed to be absorbed well into your body. I've been taking it for about a week now, and while I haven't experienced any severe side effects, I did have some mild stomach upset and a bit of fatigue. I've read that some people experience more severe side effects, so I wanted to start a discussion about what others have gone through and any tips for managing side effects. It's also important to be aware of the urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention, such as signs of an allergic reaction, electrolyte problems, and liver issues. I want to know if anyone else has had any issues or has some advice for me regarding this medication.

Make sure you take it with food and a full glass of water. It's supposed to help with absorption and reduce stomach issues. I learned that the hard way!

It's scary reading about all the possible severe side effects. I'm glad I haven't had any, but it's good to be aware. I'm taking it with food and it seems to help with the upset stomach. I'll definitely call my doc if anything weird happens.

I've been on a bunch of antivirals. This is the first one that's actually worked for me. Fingers crossed I don't get any of the bad side effects.

I had a bad experience with Noxafil. I developed a fever and had chills, which is listed as a serious side effect. Ended up in the ER and was switched to something else.

Just started Noxafil and already feeling a bit groggy. Anyone else experience this? Hoping it goes away soon.
