Nuwiq is a medicine used to treat and prevent bleeding in people with hemophilia A. Hemophilia A is a condition where your blood doesn't clot properly because you're missing a protein called Factor VIII. Nuwiq has been a game-changer for me. I used to have frequent nosebleeds and joint pain, but since I started using Nuwiq, those issues have pretty much disappeared. I highly recommend it to anyone with hemophilia A. I have noticed that it can cause minor side effects, but they are manageable and not nearly as bad as the symptoms I was experiencing before

I've heard that some people have issues with the injection sites, but I haven't had much trouble. I do a lot of exercise and stretching to keep my joints healthy, and that helps a lot with any soreness. Injection sites are not bad if you do it correctly and keep a routine

I had a bad reaction to Nuwiq. I experienced hives and swelling in my face, so I had to stop using it. It was scary, and I ended up in the ER. I'm glad I'm okay, but it was a close call. Just be careful and watch for any signs of a reaction.

I switched to Nuwiq from another Factor VIII treatment, and the difference is night and day. The main thing I notice is that my bleeding episodes are far less frequent, so it has drastically improved my quality of life. My only gripe is that the cost is pretty high, but insurance covers most of it. Nuwiq is easier to use than some other drugs, which makes it a good option.

Nuwiq is a bit pricier, but worth it for what it does. My insurance covers a lot of it, so that helps. I had to fight with my insurance company about some of the costs, but in the end, it was worth it. It's a bit more expensive, but the peace of mind is worth it
