I've been prescribed Nystatin/triamcinolone Oint 60gm for a fungal skin infection. The description says it's great for reducing inflammation and itching, but I'm a bit worried about the possible side effects. Has anyone had a bad reaction to this ointment, or any tips on how to manage it? I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and signs of high blood sugar. Any insights would be really helpful!

The ointment really helped with the itching and redness, but I did notice some dry skin around the area. It wasn't too bad, so I just moisturized the area after applying the ointment.

I didn't have any issues, but I heard that some people experience Cushing's syndrome. That sounds scary—be careful and keep an eye out for symptoms like weight gain and severe headache.

I had a weird reaction where the skin around the application area started to peel a bit. It was pretty scary, but my doctor said it was just a reaction to the medication. Make sure to monitor your skin closely!

I had a mild rash, but it went away after a couple of days. I think it was just my skin adjusting to the medication. Make sure to keep an eye on any changes and contact your doctor if you notice anything unusual!

I used the ointment as directed, and the symptoms cleared up within a week. IMO, it was worth it because my skin looked like hell before.

Saw my doctor today and he said the side effects are pretty rare. I guess it's worth a try if the infection is really bad. Just be cautious and follow the instructions!

I used this ointment a few months ago and it worked really well for me. No side effects at all, but I followed the doctor's instructions closely. Just make sure to apply it as directed and you should be fine!
