Has anyone had significant side effects from Ocrevus? I'm about to start my first infusion and I'm really nervous about the potential reactions. I know it's supposed to help slow down the progression of MS, but the list of side effects is pretty scary. How did your doctor prepare you for the infusion process? Any tips for managing anxiety before and during the infusion? I'd love to hear from people who have been through it.

Bring a book. I do not bring my phone and just want to rest. That whole hour is my time to relax. But yes the nurses were amazing as well, giving me pre-medication and checking on me every 15 minutes.

I had a pretty bad infusion reaction the first time. Fever, chives, and shortness of breath. It was scary, but the nurses were ready with meds to help. Second infusion went way better after pre-medication with steroids and Benadryl.

Just had my 4th infusion and I'm doing great! My neurologist said to keep an eye out for any signs of infection, especially skin infections, since that's a common side effect. I've been fine, though. I brought a pillow and a blanket and just made myself comfortable. Wished I had bought a heating pad though, I was freezing afterwards.

I've been on Ocrevus for a couple of years now and it's been a game-changer for me. My relapses have decreased significantly. As for side effects, I've had some mild ones like a headache or mild stomach pain, but nothing too bad. The infusion center gives me a pile of drugs before the infusion to avoid any serious reactions.

You'll be fine! I was really nervous too, but the staff at the infusion center was amazing. They explained everything and made sure I was comfortable. Also, bring snacks and entertainment! The infusion takes a while.

I had PML, but not from ocrevus. Good luck with your infusions. You can do it!

I hope your first infusion goes well! Remember, everyone's experience is different, but it's great that you're doing your research and preparing mentally. You got this!

I've heard some people have infusion reactions, but I've never had any issues. I do make sure to stay hydrated and eat well before the infusion. It's always good to be extra cautious.
