I've been on Olanzapine/Fluoxetine 3-25mg Caps for a few months now, and I wanted to share my experience. This combo is used to treat bipolar depression and treatment-resistant depression. I've struggled with depression for years, and nothing seemed to work until this. I've noticed a significant improvement in my mood and energy levels. However, I've also experienced some side effects like increased appetite and weight gain. But honestly, the benefits have outweighed the drawbacks for me. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. What has your experience been like? Any tips for managing the side effects?

This medication has been a game-changer for me. I've tried so many different antidepressants, but nothing worked until this. I wish more people knew about it. Yes, the side effects can be tough, but for me, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. I've gained some weight, but I've also gained my life back. I've had some issues with increased hunger. I have found that having smaller more frequent meals has helped me feel less hungry but I am still eating more than I ever have my whole life.

I was on this med for a while and it helped but I switched to another med due to the weight gain. Not worth it for me but everyone is different.

Honestly, I think this medication is overrated. I've been on it for a few months, and I haven't noticed any real improvement in my mood. I'm thinking about switching to a different medication. Does anyone have any recommendations for treating bipolar depression?

I've heard that some people get really bad side effects from this med, but it's been alright for me. I get a bit of dry mouth, but nothing too bad. I'm just happy that my depression is finally under control.

I feel like the side effects on this med are way worse than it's worth. I've gained 30 pounds, my blood sugar is up, and I've had some pretty scary hallucinations. Not worth it for me.
