I started taking Olmesartan/amlod/hctz 40-10-25mg T a few months ago to manage my high blood pressure. The medication has been effective, but I've been worried about the potential side effects. The combination of these three drugs—olmesartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide—is designed to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing salt and water retention. However, the list of possible side effects is quite extensive. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects, or know of any tips for managing them? Is it worth the risk if the medication is doing its job? And how reliable are the claims of preventing heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems? Is there anyone out there who has had a success story with this drug?

My doctor recommended this for my high blood pressure, and it's been working pretty well. I did experience some headaches and dizziness at first, but they've gone away. I also noticed that I had to urinate more frequently, which can be a bit inconvenient but is a small price to pay for better health. I'm really hoping the long-term benefits are worth it!

I've been on this medication for over a year, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolytes.

I'm considering switching to a different medication because of the skin cancer risk. Has anyone had any experiences with that?

I'm glad to hear it's working for others. But seriously, we need to be vigilant about these side effects. My friend had a severe allergic reaction to it and ended up in the ER.

Has anyone else noticed changes in vision? I had some weird eye issues after a few weeks and had to get checked out.

I got scared when I started experiencing muscle weakness and spasms. Turns out it was just a part of the adjustment period. Stick it out, but definitely talk to your doctor if anything feels off.

This medication is a lifesaver for me. Amlodipine didn't work well on its own, but the combination has been much more effective. Just keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and talk to your doctor about them. Common cold symptoms are one thing, but kidney problems? That's serious stuff.

Olmesartan/amlod/hctz has been great for managing my hypertension. I did experience a bit of muscle weakness and fatigue at the beginning, but it subsided. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat potassium-rich foods to help with the electrolyte balance. Also, frequent skin checks are a must, as this medication can increase the risk of skin cancer. Sun protection is crucial. One thing I noticed is the increased urine output, so I make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day.
