I've been taking Omeprazole 20mg capsules for about a month now to manage my acid reflux and it has been a game-changer. The heartburn relief is incredible, and I haven't had any major issues so far. However, I've noticed some common side effects like mild nausea and stomach pain. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm a bit concerned about the potential severe side effects, especially kidney problems and skin reactions. How likely are these issues and should I be worried? I'm also curious to know if anyone has had to stop taking Omeprazole because of severe side effects.

I stopped taking it because of severe dizziness. It was scary, but my doctor switched me to a different medication and I'm doing fine now.

I've been on Omeprazole for years and haven't had any major issues. The common side effects can be managed easily. Don't worry too much about the severe ones; they're rare.

I got a mild rash and stopped taking it right away. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. Always better to be safe!

I switched to a different medication because of the long-term side effects. It's worth considering other options if you can.

My doctor said the severe side effects are rare, but it's good to know the symptoms. I'm just keeping an eye out and taking it as prescribed.

I've had some weird stomach pains but nothing too bad. I'm going to stick with it for now. Has anyone tried any natural remedies to help with the side effects?
