I've been prescribed Ondansetron 2mg/ml Inj, 2ml to help with nausea and vomiting, but I'm a bit concerned about the side effects. Has anyone had any bad experiences with this medication? I've read about some serious side effects like serotonin syndrome and allergic reactions, and I don't want to end up in the hospital. It's supposed to block serotonin, but is it common to feel worse before you start to feel better? I've heard it can be a bit of a rollercoaster. Any tips on managing the side effects or things to look out for would be much appreciated.

I had a really bad experience with Ondansetron. I ended up with a rash all over my body and had to go to the ER. Definitely a scary experience, but everyone is different so hopefully you will be fine.

I took Ondansetron a few years back after chemotherapy, it helped a lot. Unfortunately I did get some tiredness but that was probably just from the chemo. Worked well though.

I've been on it for a while and it's been fine. Just make sure you stay hydrated and listen to your body. If something feels off, talk to your doctor.

I remember feeling really dizzy on this stuff. Make sure you're sitting down when you take it and don't drive or operate heavy machinery.

Be careful with this one. I had a friend who ended up with a racing heart and had to be rushed to the hospital. Scary stuff.

I took Ondansetron after surgery and it worked like a charm. No side effects at all. But everyone is different, so hopefully, it goes well for you too!

I've had some stomach issues on this medication but nothing too bad. Just keep an eye on everything and you should be fine.

I've been on it a few times and never had any major issues. Just make sure you're talking to your doctor regularly about how you're feeling. Chest pain is NOT a laughing matter so keep an eye out for that.
