I've been on Opdivo (nivolumab) for a few months now, and I wanted to share my experience. Opdivo is an immunotherapy that helps my immune system fight cancer by blocking certain proteins. I've noticed some side effects, but overall, it's been manageable. I wanted to hear from others who have experienced Opdivo and learn about their journeys. Specifically, I'm interested in hearing about any side effects you've had and how you've managed them. What has been the best advice you've received from your healthcare provider or peers? Has anyone experienced relief from side effects such as fatigue after incorporating specific lifestyle changes? Also, what preparation advice would you offer to anyone newly diagnosed and considering this treatment?

I started Opdivo a few weeks ago and I'm already feeling pretty tired. Is this normal? Or should I be worried? My doctor isn't too concerned but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I had a pretty rough time with Opdivo at first. The fatigue was intense, and I had some joint pain. But my oncologist gave me some good tips on managing the fatigue, like scheduling short naps during the day and not pushing myself too hard. It helped a lot!

I've been on Opdivo for about 6 months. My side effect was really bad. I got a rash, severe headache, and weird sweating. It was really miserable. Now, after my doctor adjusted my treatment, it is much better, but I don't think I will do it any longer. I think I should consider other options too. Anyone else felt the same?

Opdivo has been a lifesaver for me. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and Opdivo has really helped shrink the tumors. The side effects have been tough, but my doctor has been great at managing them. Anyone else seen good results with lung cancer?

I've been on Opdivo for a few months now and I noticed an improvement. No serious side effects so far. I had headaches and mild fatigue at first, but they went away after a while. I hope my treatment continues to work this way.

I've been on it for a year now. My biggest issue was the weight changes. I've lost a good amount of weight and it is really hard to keep my weight up. I've found that eating small, frequent meals and drinking protein shakes have helped a bit, but it's still a struggle. Does anyone else have tips on managing weight loss while on Opdivo?

My experience with Opdivo has been a bit of a rollercoaster. One week, I feel great and the next, I'm completely drained. I've been trying to listen to my body and rest when I need to. But sometimes it is hard to find the balance. Also, my immune system is really out of whack, but my doctor tells me it's normal.

I've been on Opdivo for a few months now and I think it's working. But, the flu-like symptoms have been brutal. Feels like I've had a constant cold. Anyone else dealing with this?

I've been really lucky with Opdivo. I've had some constipation and stomach pain, but nothing too bad. My doctor said it's because of how the drug stimulates the immune system. I've been taking stool softeners and that has helped a lot. I hope it continues to work like this for me! This drug is a miracle.
