I've been taking Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Tabs 28s for a few months now, and I've had a mix of experiences. Initially, I was excited about the convenience of a daily pill to prevent pregnancy, but I soon encountered some side effects that I wasn't prepared for. I've had mild weight gain, headaches, and some spotting between periods. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this birth control. Did you experience similar side effects? How did you cope with them? And for those who have switched from Ortho-Tri-Cyclen, what did you switch to and were the side effects better or worse? Also, I've heard that this medication may cause dark patches of skin on your face. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you manage it? I'm wearing sunscreen and protective clothing, but I'm still worried.

Are you actually seeing any doctors about this? Did you try a different pill or a different dose?

You should look into the side effects of Ortho-Tri-Cyclen before it's too late. I switched birth control because of the headaches, and I haven't looked back!

I'm actually considering switching to an IUD. Has anyone had issues with an IUD and any of the side effects? I'd get an IUD in a heartbeat, but the idea of a large insertion scares me in a lot of ways. I'm also a lot of hearing about Ortho-Tri-Cyclen.

Seriously, though, I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for a few years and didn't notice any crazy side effects, but I had heard the stories. I was also worried about sudden vision and depression changes. Talk to a doctor, obviously
