I just started the Otezla 28 Day Starter Pack for my psoriasis. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the side effects listed in the package. Specifically, I'm concerned about the gastrointestinal issues and changes in mood. I've heard that some people have had severe reactions, but I also know that everyone's experience is different. Has anyone found any tips or tricks to mitigate these side effects? Also, how long did it take for you to see improvement in your symptoms? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've had some weird side effects as well and my friend felt bad for me. He told me to give up on it. I didn't listen to him and now I love it. He's not a doctor, so I didn't take his advice. Just take care of yourself, this could be a game changer. I hope you get better!

A few people I know in my support group stopped Otezla after the first month because of the anxiety and depression. It's really not worth it if your quality of life is that affected. Talk to your doc.

If you can, keep a food diary. It really helps identify what might be making your stomach issues worse. Also, drink lots of water. I know it sounds obvious, but dehydration can make everything worse. I've been doing this and it has made my experience a lot better.

It sucks to hear about so many side effects. Please let me know how you're feeling and we can swap notes! I'm here for you.

I feel like everyone's experience is so different with this med. My friend took it and never had any issues. I started it a month ago and haven't had any side effects. Be patient and just make sure to keep an eye on yourself.

I've been on Otezla for about 6 months now, and I've had some pretty severe side effects. The first few weeks were rough with stomach pain and diarrhea, but it's getting better. Give it time, but definitely keep an eye on those mood changes. I had some pretty bad anxiety at the beginning.
