For those with children or family members suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Agamree (vamorolone) has been a game-changer. This new steroid formulation works differently from traditional steroids, aiming to reduce muscle damage and inflammation with fewer side effects. It's not a cure, but it helps manage DMD symptoms effectively. However, understanding the side effects and how to manage them is crucial. Let's share our experiences, tips, and concerns about Agamree 40mg/ml Oral Susp 100ml. How has it worked for your loved one? Any side effects you've noticed?

Absolutely, it can be challenging. Make sure to keep a close eye on any significant changes and talk to your doctor. Also, monitor weight gain and fluid intake for signs of Cushing's syndrome.

I wish I knew about this earlier! The side effects are definitely milder than other steroids we've tried. My daughter only has mild nausea and headache sometimes

We had some initial concerns, so my parents and I took notes on symptoms and went to regular check ups. Most side effects were minor, but the peace of mind from knowing there were fewer long-term issues was worth it.

I've seen amazing improvements in my son since he started Agamree. His muscle strength has increased, and he's been more active.

Has anyone else dealt with severe headache or muscle pain? My son’s been experiencing that and I’m worried.

If anyone’s experienced signs like severe stomach upset or vomiting, I’d love to hear how you managed it. We’re keeping an eye out for any drastic changes in mood, too.

The best part about this med? Weight gain is manageable compared to other steroids I’ve encountered. We just have to watch for increased appetite and headaches.

Agamree has been a mixed bag for us. While it helps with muscle pain, we’ve had to closely monitor for signs of infection and electrolyte problems. It's a relief we don't have to worry about stunted growth and bone problems, but the vigilance required is tiring.
