I'm currently going through fertility treatments and have been prescribed Ovidrel to trigger ovulation. I've read about the possible side effects, and while I understand that they are rare, I can't help but feel a bit anxious. Has anyone else used this medication? What was your experience like? Were the side effects manageable? I'd love to hear some real-life stories to help me prepare for what's to come. Also, any tips on how to handle the injection would be greatly appreciated!

I had a really rough time with Ovidrel. I ended up with OHSS and it was miserable. Definitely keep an eye out for those symptoms and don't hesitate to call your doctor.

Be prepared to feel a bit emotional after your trigger shot. I remember feeling so hopeful and anxious all at once. But it worked, and my twins are proof of that!

I had some bad bruising at the injection site. My nurse told me to hold pressure on the site for a bit after the injection, which helped a lot.

Ovidrel was a game-changer for me. After trying for so long, it finally worked! Just remember to stay hydrated and take it easy during your two-week wait. Fingers crossed for you!

Fun fact: Ovidrel is basically a synthetic version of the luteinizing hormone (LH) that your body produces naturally. It's amazing what science can do! Good luck with your treatment!
