I recently started using Oxistat 1% Cream to treat a stubborn case of athlete's foot. The cream has been effective so far, but I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects listed. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I've read about some serious reactions, and I'm wondering if it's worth the risk. I've been applying it as directed, but the thought of experiencing severe side effects like blistering or swelling is scary. Has anyone had positive experiences with this or switched to something else? I'd love to hear any advice or similar stories. It's hard to balance the need for effective treatment with the fear of adverse reactions.

I've been using this cream for a week, and it's working wonders on my jock itch. I've been getting a lot of sweaty gym stockings and it stopped it instantly. So far, no issues, and it’s been great.

I used Oxistat for a yeast infection and it worked like a charm. No side effects at all, just made sure to wash hands thoroughly after applying.

Just wanted to mention, if you do get any severe side effects, don’t hesitate to go to the ER. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

I’m on my third day of using Oxistat and so far, so good. No irritation or anything, but I’m keeping an eye out. I’m hoping it clears up my ringworm.

I think the fear of side effects is overblown. I’ve used this a few times and never had any issues. Just make sure to follow the directions carefully. Don't use it on broken skin even though it might be tempting.

I had a terrible reaction to this cream. Within a day, I started getting red, itchy skin and it quickly progressed to blistering. I had to stop using it immediately and see my doctor. I'm amazed to see how different experiences can be.

This thread is a great reminder to always do a patch test when using new topicals. I had a bad experience with a different cream and I always do a patch test now. Just apply a small amount to a small area and wait 24 hours. It can save you a lot of trouble.

I’m really sensitive to medicines, so I was wary of trying Oxistat. But it turned out to be pretty mild for me. Just a bit of itching, nothing major. I’m just glad it worked.

I had a weird burning sensation when I first applied it, but it went away after a while. Overall, it’s been okay. Just be careful and keep an eye on any reactions.

I’ve been using Oxistat for about a week now and haven’t experienced any major side effects. I do feel some minor irritation, but nothing too serious. It seems to be working on my athlete's foot, which is a relief.
