I've been battling athlete's foot for months now and my doctor prescribed me Oxistat 1% Lotion 30ml. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the serious ones listed. Has anyone had any experiences with this medication? Did it work for you? I'm wondering if the irritation at the application site is common or if it's something to really worry about. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Be careful with this stuff. I had a weird rash after using it for a couple of days. I stopped using it and it went away. Might have been an allergic reaction.

I've used Oxistat for ringworm and it worked really well. The key is to apply it exactly as prescribed and keep the area clean. I didn't have any serious side effects, just a bit of redness and irritation, but it went away quickly. Just make sure to finish the entire course even if you feel better.

I’ve had good experiences with other topical antifungal treatments. I'd recommend sticking to trusted brands and following the application instructions to the letter. Always better to be safe than sorry.

Make sure you apply it to clean, dry skin. I made the mistake of rushing it and ended up with more irritation than necessary. Also, keep your socks and shoes clean to prevent reinfection.

I've used it and had severe itching, but I talk to my doctor and he suggested adding some hydrocortisone cream. It helped a lot with the itching and I was able to finish the course.
