I've been prescribed Oxymorphone ER 10mg Tablets for chronic pain management. The medication has been effective, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects, especially the rare but serious ones like serotonin syndrome and adrenal gland problems. Has anyone else experienced these side effects or know more about them? What should I be on the lookout for? Also, are there any tips or tricks to manage the more common side effects like constipation or dizziness?

I was on Oxymorphone ER for a while, and the constipation was brutal. My doctor recommended a stool softener and increasing my fiber intake, which helped a lot. Just be sure to stay hydrated!

I didn't know the tablet shell could appear in your stool. Is this something to worry about?

My doc switched me to a different pain med because the dizziness and drowsiness were too much to handle, but I'm curious if anyone has experienced any memory problems or loss while on this medication. I've heard it can happen with opioids in general, so I wonder if it's possible with Oxymorphone ER.

I take my meds and just deal with the constipation. It's a pain, but it's better than the alternative. Just make sure you stay hydrated and keep moving around.

I've never heard of anyone experiencing hallucinations on this medication, but it's definitely something to be aware of. If it happens, it's an emergency situation, so don't hesitate to seek medical attention.

Oxymorphone ER has been a lifesaver for me, but I definitely experienced some dizziness at first. It went away after a couple of weeks, though. Just take it easy and don't drive until you're sure you're not affected.

I've been on this medication for a few months now, and I've had no major issues. I did experience some stomach pain at first, but it went away. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions and report any side effects.

I'm surprised more people don't talk about the potential for adrenal gland problems. It's rare, but it can happen. If you feel extremely tired or weak, or if you pass out, get to a doctor immediately.

If anyone's looking for some extra tips, I've found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helps with the dizziness and stomach issues. Plus, it's easier on your digestive system.
