I've been giving my 8-year-old daughter Palforzia for a few months now, and we're up to level 11. She's doing well, but I'm always on edge about the potential side effects. Has anyone else reached this level and experienced any severe reactions? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for managing this treatment.

We've had a few scares with severe diarrhea and stomach cramps, but we stuck with it. If you're seeing any of these symptoms, don't hesitate to call your doctor. They can help you manage them and keep going with the treatment. And never give it on an empty stomach.

I think it's absolutely worth the risk. Reducing a risk of a potential anaphlatic shock is completely worth it. Our kids are paying a price to get more freedom. It's tough but it's so worth it,

Palforzia is hard but worth to reduce the risk of an anaphylatic shock. Some days I wonder if I can do this all the way to 36. It's difficult but I believe it's worth it knowing that my child is protected.

Mixed Palforzia with applesauce works best for us!

Omg, just saw those side effects. Is it even worth the risk?

We started Palforzia last year and just reached level 11. The biggest challenge has been the initial adjustment period. My son had some hiccups with stomach pain and vomiting at level 8, but his doctor said it's normal and to continue. I know it's tough, but keep going. It's worth it. Monitor the side effects closely.

I had a lot of stomach pains at higher levels. Maybe having something fatty with it helps, too?

My daughter had some issues with her mouth tingling. It's not fun. My doctor said it could be a side effect but isn't always a reaction. Let your doctor know what's happening. In our case, we were able to manage the tingling by taking the meds with food.

I'm curious about how other families are handling the long-term commitment of Palforzia. It's a lot of work but I'm not sure what else to do. We're not the only parents going through this struggle, right?

Has anyone else tried giving Palforzia with a different food? If this helps you, please share what worked for you. Right now, we're giving it with applesauce.
