I felt like a zombie when I first started taking it. It gets better though.
I've been on this for about 6 months and it's been a game-changer. None of the side effects have been too bad, just some hair loss and vision change. Definitely worth it for me.
The first few weeks were rough, but it's been okay since then. I've gained some weight, but nothing too bad. Just watch your diet and exercise.
I switched from Risperidone to Paliperidone, and it's been a lot better for me. Less side effects and better symptom management. Make sure to take it at the same time every day for best results.
I've heard some horror stories about tardive dyskinesia. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen to me. Has anyone here experienced it, and if so, how did you cope?
