I've been prescribed Hycet for some time, and I'm curious about others' experiences. It's a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen, which seems effective, but I'm wondering about the side effects I've read about. Has anyone else experienced any serious issues? I've had some mild dizziness and constipation, but nothing too concerning. I'm just hoping to get some insights from others who've used this medication to manage moderate to severe pain. Is anyone else worried about the opioid component?

I've been on Hycet for a few weeks now, and honestly, it's been a game-changer for my back pain. The drowsiness can be a bit much sometimes, but it's worth it for the relief. Just make sure to stay hydrated, folks. I've found that helps with the constipation.

Had to stop taking Hycet because of how badly it affected my mood. I started feeling extremely irritable and just not like myself. I talked to my doctor, and we decided to switch to a different pain management plan. I am currently taking Tramadol and can't complain. I haven't felt worse moods, but it also does nothing for my pain.

I had insurance issues trying to get Hycet. My pharmacy was saying the generic was unavailable. I have a very onerous insurance plan, so maybe that was causing issues. The pharmacist couldn't figure it out either, so they went with the tablets. I've had to cancel my Hycet prescription and moved onto Percocet 5-325mg instead.

I'm on my third week of Hycet and I'm doing well. No issues. Can anyone tell me how long should I expect to be on it? I haven't had any problems, I feel a lot better, but I'd rather not be on medication for longer than necessary. How long have other people been on Hycet and how long did it take to get off? I want to avoid dependence.
