As a parent, I've been dealing with head lice in my household for the past few weeks. I've tried several over-the-counter treatments, but nothing seems to work. I recently came across Lice Killing Max Strength Shampoo and was wondering if anyone has had any success with this product. The active ingredients, Pyrethrins and Piperonyl Butoxide, seem promising, but I want to hear from others before investing in it. Has anyone had issues with the side effects mentioned in the product description? If so, how did you handle them? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter had a terrible time with lice, but this shampoo really saved the day. No more itching and the lice were gone after the second treatment.

I've used this shampoo before and it worked great for me! I followed the directions carefully and repeated the treatment as recommended. No side effects either.

Don’t forget to treat everyone in the household, even if they don’t have lice. It’s easier to prevent an infestation than to deal with it later.

I've heard that some people put mayonnaise in their hair overnight and then wash it out in the morning. Has anyone tried this method?

I had a really bad reaction to this shampoo. I got hives all over my body and had to rush to the ER. Not worth the risk for me.

I had to repeat the treatment twice to completely get rid of the lice. It was a hassle, but worth it in the end.

My kid’s school had an outbreak, so we had to use this. It sucked, but it worked. Just make sure you’re thorough with the combing and rinsing.

I don't know if this shampoo is worth it. I tried it once and it irritated my skin badly. Went back to the old school combo of vinegar and combing. No side effects there.
