Parents: Share your experiences with Harvoni 45-200mg Oral Pellet Pak for kids with HCV
Harvoni 45-200mg Oral Pellet Pak is a game-changer for children with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. This medication combines ledipasvir and sofosbuvir to halt the virus' multiplication, helping to clear the infection. Designed specifically for children, this pellet formulation makes it easier to administer and dose. I've been reading about the possible side effects, though, and I'm curious to hear from other parents. Have your kids experienced any of the more serious side effects like allergic reactions or liver problems? How about the more common ones like dizziness or fatigue? Did your doctor provide specific advice for managing these? I'd appreciate any tips or insights you can share.

My daughter had a really bad reaction toHarvoni. She started breaking out in hives and her throat started closing up. We ended up in the ER. Scariest moment of my life. Her doctor said it was rare but possible. So glad we caught it in time.
I haven't heard of any problems and I know a couple of kids on this. I know the dos is different for different kids so it may have to be adjusted.
It's so important to keep an eye out for those serious side effects. Better safe than sorry. I'm glad you all are checking in on each other.
We're on week 3 and my kid has been a bit dizzy, but otherwise okay. The doctor said it's a common side effect and should pass soon. Just keeping an eye out for anything more serious.
Just started Harvest last week. She spits out some pellets but I'm hopeful because we'll get her cleared and she wont have to worry about passing this to someone else. Allergies have been bad with the weather changing so maybe that's why the rash but I still call her doc just in case.
I've been really worried about the liver problems. My kiddo's doctor said to keep an eye on dark urine and yellow skin, and to call right away if we see either. We haven't, but it's still scary. Just taking it day by day.
I have seen my kid struggle with the side effects of other medications. I am not looking forward to these side effects more than the virus itself. My son has a lot of energy and I'm worried he will get tired and weak.
