Since getting diagnosed, I've been trying to manage my Parkinson's symptoms. I've heard a lot about Gocovri for controlling dyskinesia and 'off' episodes. Is it as effective as they say? I'm taking levodopa and I'm hoping for a new tool to stay comfortable. I've read about some serious side effects, but I'm wondering if people find the benefits outweight the risks. Gocovri is so pricey, too! Have any of you found alternative solutions for dyskinesia that cost less? I can't imagine it's the only option. I've also heard that Gocovri can help with sleep disturbances, so I'm hoping it might help with my insomnia. How has Gocovri impacted your daily life and quality of life overall?

Gocovri has been a lifesaver for me. I've had fewer 'off' episodes, and my movements are much smoother. It's not perfect, but it's definitely improved my quality of life. Thank you to anyone who tried it and stuck it out!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it hard to get used to Gocovri. Its hard to weigh the cost, too, I really need to speak to someone who gets cost assistance, I think. Does anyone know how to get assistance with this?

I had to stop taking Gocovri after a month because of severe dizziness. It was unbearable. My doctor switched me to a different med, and it's been fine so. I feel like Gocovri just wasn't good for my body, personally. I don't know if that's common; it's just my two cents.

Have any of you tried complementary therapies alongside Gocovri? I'm thinking about acupuncture or yoga to manage symptoms further.
