I recently started using Crovalimab (Piasky) 340mg/2ml Sdv Inj for treating my Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH). This medication is given by injection under the skin and works by blocking a part of your immune system that can damage your red blood cells in PNH. I've heard that switching to this medication from a similar drug requires close monitoring for 30 days. Has anyone else had this experience? I'm curious to know how others have managed the transition and any tips or advice you might have. Additionally, I'd love to hear about any side effects you've encountered and how you've dealt with them. Let's share our stories and support each other!

This medication has been a game-changer for me. I've been on it for about 6 months now and have seen a significant improvement in my symptoms. The injections are a bit painful, but the relief from the constant fatigue and shortness of breath is worth it. I did experience some muscle pain during the injection, but it subsided quickly. One thing I would recommend is to always keep an eye out for signs of infection, as that can be a serious side effect.

It’s crazy how this drug can cause such a wide range of side effects, from minor injection site reactions to life-threatening allergic reactions. It’s important to stay vigilant and report any unusual symptoms to your doctor right away.

The common cold symptoms are a bit annoying. I've had a lot of sneezing and congestion lately, but it's manageable. My doctor assured me that these side effects are usually temporary and should go away over time. Still, I've kept a log of all symptoms to discuss with my doctor at my next appointment, because it's hard to remember everything on the spot. It’s also made me realize that if I’m feeling weak or have low energy, I should contact my doctor right away.

The thought of switching medications and the 30-day monitoring period is a bit daunting. I’ll definitely stick to my current plan unless absolutely necessary.

I've heard that some people experience pretty severe allergic reactions to this drug. Has anyone else had that issue or know anyone who has?

I switched from another medication to Piasky and the 30-day monitoring period was intense. My doctor checked in with me almost daily to ensure I wasn’t experiencing any severe reactions. It was stressful, but knowing that I was being closely monitored gave me some peace of mind.

I’ve been on Piasky for a while and the main side effect I’ve noticed is the redness and pain at the injection site. It's not too bad, but it’s something to be aware of. I use a topical cream to soothe the area, and it helps a lot. I also make sure to report any minor symptoms to my doctor, just to be on the safe side. Has anyone else found any good ways to manage the injection site reactions?

I'm new to this and I'm worried about all the serious side effects. Is there a support group or community where I can get more info and reassurance?
