I recently started treatment with Pemetrexed 100mg/4ml Inj 4ml for my mesothelioma. I'm looking to connect with others who have experience with this drug, particularly about managing side effects. I've heard a lot about the potential for severe reactions, but I'm also curious about the common ones, like fatigue and hair loss, and how others have coped. Does anyone have tips for dealing with these side effects? Also, I'm interested in hearing about any lesser-known side effects that I might not be prepared for. What has your experience been like?

I lost my hair about 3 weeks in. It's tough, but I'm trying to look at it as a small price to pay if it means the treatment is working. Has anyone else experienced hair loss and how did you cope?

Has anyone else experienced changes in taste? I can't stand certain foods anymore. Any tips on dealing with this?

Managing side effects like nausea is tough. I found that eating small, frequent meals and avoiding spicy or greasy foods helps a lot. Ginger tea and anti-nausea meds prescribed by my doctor have also been lifesavers.

If you're taking Pemetrexed, make sure to take your vitamin B12 and folic acid supplements. They can help reduce some of the side effects. My oncologist told me about this, and it's made a big difference.

What a joke, I had the worst side effects from Pemetrexed
