I was recently prescribed Propranolol 1mg/ml Inj, 1ml in the hospital to manage my irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure. The medication was administered by injection and worked wonders in slowing down my heart rate and stabilizing my blood pressure. However, I experienced some side effects like dizziness and vivid dreams, which I found quite unsettling. Has anyone else had similar experiences, and how did you cope with the side effects? Additionally, I would love to hear about any long-term effects or benefits others might have noticed from this medication.

I've been on Propranolol for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. I didn't experience any of the severe side effects, but the vivid dreams were initially disturbing. After a few days, my body seemed to adjust, and they went away. Just remember to stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activities immediately after the injection.

I'm not a fan of injections, but this med saved my life. Anyone else feel like they have to monitor their blood pressure constantly because of the meds?

I had a family member who was on Propranolol for years. It helped with his hypertension, but he had to deal with dizziness and fatigue all the time. He switched to a different beta-blocker and felt much better. It's definitely worth discussing with your doctor if the side effects are too much to handle.

Severe mood swings and confusion are not worth it. I'd rather deal with the hypertension.
