I've been on Propranolol for a while now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. I didn't experience any of the severe side effects, but the vivid dreams were initially disturbing. I had a family member who was on Propranolol for years. It helped with his hypertension, but he had to deal with dizziness and fatigue all the time. He switched to a different beta-blocker and felt much better. It's definitely worth discussing with your doctor if the side effects are too much to handle.
Severe mood swings and confusion are not worth it. I'd rather deal with the hypertension.
