I recently started taking Phesgo for HER2-positive breast cancer and wanted to share my experience and learn from others. It's been a few weeks since my first injection, and while I'm hoping it helps, I've had some side effects that are concerning. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? IIt's been a few weeks since my first injection of Phesgo. I’m hopeful it helps, but I’ve had some issues that are concerning. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I want to document how I'm feeling and compare notes with others who might have insights or advice. I’ve heard about the potential for serious side effects, like infections or electrolyte problems, and while I hope I won’t experience any of those, it’s hard not to worry. Where can I find more reliable, up-to-date information about these risks? I might be doing this wrong but I have not felt any changes except for a small irritation at the injection site. Phesgo is a combination of three medications, pertuzumab and trastuzumab with hyaluronidase added to help with absorption under the skin. I have to admit I’m a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions or tumor lysis syndrome. Has anyone had any of these severe side effects, and if so, how were they managed? It’s a lot to take in, and I’m trying to stay optimistic.

My main issue has been joint pain, but I’ve been managing it with physical therapy and pain meds. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but if it means you have more years of life quality, it's worth it. Just don’t let the side effects get to you.

Anyone else experiencing hot flashes? I feel like I’m having a menopausal episode all over again. It’s making it difficult to sleep.

Phesgo has been a game-changer for me. I had some hair loss and fatigue, but nothing too severe. Definitely worth it if it helps fight the cancer. Keep your spirits up, it's a tough journey but you're doing great.

My doctor warned me about the serious side effects, but I've been lucky so far. Just be vigilant and report any unusual symptoms right away. I had some weird chest pain but it turned out to be nothing. I was still incredibly scared.

Phesgo has been rough on my digestion. I’ve had constipation and diarrhea. It’s been so rough that I’ve started eating a diet that’s higher in fiber and lower in fat. It’s been really tough on my system, but not bad enough to stop taking this drug.

I’ve been on Phesgo for a few months now. The injection site irritation was rough at first, but it got better over time. Hang in there, it might be temporary!

Phesgo was recommended to me because of the HER2 protein issue. I had no idea what that meant, but the doctor explained it well and it helped. You should definitely become familiar with it if you have questions!
