I've been taking Phoslo 667mg Capsules for about six months now to manage my phosphorus levels due to kidney disease. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has tips or similar stories. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about the possible side effects, especially the severe ones like allergic reactions and high calcium levels. But so far, I've only had some mild upset stomach issues. I've found that taking the medication with food helps a lot. I'm curious to hear from others about their experiences and any advice they might have. Are there any tricks to make these pills easier to swallow or any dietary changes that have helped you out? Thanks for reading.

Be careful with the high calcium levels. I had some issues with that at first, but my doctor adjusted my dosage and it's been fine since.

I actually really like that it's a capsule, and is easy to open and sprinkle on soft food. Makes the meds a bit easier to take.

I've been on Phoslo for years and never had any major issues. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice and monitor your phosphorus levels regularly.

I had an allergic reaction to Phoslo. It was scary, but thankfully I got medical help right away. If you start feeling any of those symptoms, don't wait, go to the ER.

I had some constipation issues at first, but my doctor recommended increasing my fiber intake and it helped a lot. Just make sure to stay hydrated!

Has anyone tried crushing the capsules? My mom has trouble swallowing pills and I'm wondering if that's an option.

I wish they made these pills smaller. They're huge and tough to swallow even with water. Any tips?

I've been on Phoslo for a while too. I totally agree that taking it with food helps. Also, I find that drinking plenty of water throughout the day makes a big difference.
