My doctor recently prescribed Phospholine Iodide 0.125% eye drops for my glaucoma, and I've been using them for a few weeks. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I want to know what potential side effects you've experienced - and how you manage them. I've heard it's a strong medicine. I've had a few issues, but I want to know if they're normal or unusual. If someone has gone through the same thing, I could use some advice. I'm also curious to know how long it usually takes for the medication to start working effectively and if there are any long-term side effects I should be aware of. I was prescribed for esotropia when I was a kid. I think they should have warned us more.

I've been using Phospholine Iodide for a while now, and while I do experience some burning and stinging, it's manageable. I find that using artificial tears before and after the drops helps a lot. I keep them in my bathroom in a medicine cabinet.

This medication is a last resort for a reason. I had severe eye pain and had to rush to the emergency room. I was honestly scared. I didn't even know what was wrong until the doctors told me it was the medication. I had to stop using it. It's really intense.

I had a bad reaction to this stuff. The excessive tearing was one of the worst. I'll never forget the first time I used it. I had to go to the emergency room because my eye was swelling up and I had trouble breathing. I thought I was going to die

I'm surprised you're using Phospholine Iodide for glaucoma when there are so many other options. It's usually a last resort due to all the side effects.

I had muscle weakness and excessive sweating with this medication. I had to stop using it because it was affecting my daily activities. So frustrating. I went back to my regular doctor about it, but they said there's nothing they can do. I guess I just have to deal with it.

I can't believe this is still being used. Have you tried other treatments? It's worth researching whether you need this or not. Not worth it.

I've had a similar experience. The burning sensation was tough at first but got better after a week. Make sure you're not touching the dropper to your eye or anything else to avoid contamination

Make sure to talk to your doctor about any changes in your vision. I noticed some blurred vision at first, but it went away after a few days. If it persists, it's important to get it checked out.
