My doctor made it very clear that I should call if I'm having any issues. Even though the serious side effects are rare, it's important to be aware of them and seek medical attention ASAP if they occur. It's better to be safe and get checked out.
I've been on Pirfenidone for about 6 months now. The biggest issue I've had is the sun sensitivity. I make sure to cover up and use sunscreen, but it's still really annoying. Has anyone found a good sunscreen or clothing line that works well?
