Planning a trip to Paris, need some tips : r/ParisTravelGuide - Look
Bonjour from a Paris newbie! I'm planning my first trip to Paris in the next few months and could use some advice from local experts or frequent travelers. I'm looking into websites like Le Bonbon, Sortir à Paris, and Paris ZigZag for food and unique locations, and venues such as Le Trébuchet, and Le Trabendo for concerts. I want to experience the city like a local and am eager to explore hidden gems, local eateries, and geeky places. Additionally I am curious to know what concert venues you would recommend if you were looking for the best local music scene. Also any reccomendations on where to stay or tours. Thank you in advance for your help!

I think you should go on a free walking tour of the city. There are many tours available throughout the city, just google 'free walking tours Paris'. I take them whenever I visit.
Definitely check out Le Marais for a vibrant local scene. Try the falafels at L'As du Fallafel. For concerts, Le Bataclan is too popular with tourists, a local band at Le Petit Bain will be more authentic.
If you're looking for a unique concert, check out La Machine du Moulin Rouge... Fantastic clubbing.
Don't miss the Canal Saint-Martin area. It's a bit touristy but still full of local shops and cafes. The food around there is fantastic, and you can find lots of great street art.
For a more local vibe, try the 11th or 20th arrondissements. You'll find great food, local bars, and less tourists. For food, Le Bonbon is your friend - try Le Bonbon with a glass of wine from the local market.
