Hey everyone, I've been prescribed Nikki 3-0.02mg tablets (ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone) for managing my PMDD and acne, as well as for birth control. I've seen posts about others struggling with similar medications, but is anyone here using Nikki 3-0.02mg? If so, I'm curious what your experience has been like. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a significant improvement in their PMDD symptoms and acne. I'm also curious about side effects—what should I be looking out for? My doc mentioned some serious ones, symptoms like severe headaches, shortness of breath, and changes in vision, but I'd love to hear more about what others have experienced, especially if you've been on this for a while and are prepared for long-term use. Thanks!

This stuff is amazing for acne, but watch out for the blurred vision. It freaked me out at first, but my doctor said it's a common side effect and it should go away.

I was super nervous about the side effects, especially the blood clots. I've read that if you smoke or have a history of blood clots, you should be extra careful. My doctor assured me that since I'm otherwise healthy, the risks are low, but it's still something to keep an eye on. So far, so good, though.

I hate the acne, but it's gone, thank god! I feel like I can date again without worrying about what my skin looks like. But I've noticed some breast tenderness lately. Anyone else?

This birth control pill is so great, I never have to worry about pregnancy again. It helps PMDD and acne so much, but the side effects are not fun. I would have to say it's a must to monitor yourself up close and often. It can be a bit of a process, but it's way better than before.

I switched to Nikki from a different birth control because of severe acne and my doctor mentioned that it might help with my PMDD too, and wow, it really helped. The first few months were a bit rough—the migraines were brutal, but I stuck with it and now I'm doing so well. I still get some breast tenderness, but it's manageable. Definitely worth it for the clarity in my skin and the emotional stability!

I've had a similar experience—I got really bad migraines at first, but they went away after a few months. I also had some pretty heavy breakthrough bleeding, so I had to go in for a check-up. My doctor adjusted my dosage, and it got better. I'm glad I talked to them because it made a huge difference.
