I recently started taking Pomalyst 1mg Capsules for multiple myeloma after other treatments didn't work. I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication, especially regarding the potential side effects. The list is extensive, and I'm worried about how to manage them. I've been taking it for a week now and haven't experienced any serious side effects yet, but I'm nervous about what might come. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What tips do you have for handling the side effects? Also, I'm interested in hearing about any long-term effects or improvements in quality of life. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I've had high blood sugar since starting. It's a struggle to manage, but I've got some good doctors on my team. They've been really helpful so far.

I've heard a lot of these side effects are temporary and manageable, but the bleeding concerns me the most. Anyone else deal with that?

I feel your pain, these side effects are rough, but you'll get through it. Stay strong and remember you're not alone in this fight.

I experienced some major shakiness and sweating when I started on Pomalyst. Luckily, my doctor prescribed some medication that helped with that. Also, the increased appetite was quite a relief after months of struggling to eat. Keep a close eye on your bloodwork and don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor.

It’s crazy how different the side effects can be for everyone. I had no issues with breathing but the constipation was unbearable. Stay hydrated and try some fiber supplements if you have similar issues.

I've been on Pomalyst for about 6 months now. The side effects were tough at first, especially the fatigue and nausea. But I've found that taking it with food and staying hydrated helps a lot. Just remember to stay in touch with your doctor and communicate any concerns you have. It can be a tough road, but I believe staying pro-active helps.

I had a bad allergic reaction to Pomalyst. My face swelled up, and I could barely breathe. Go to the hospital right away if you experience anything like that.

Ask your doctor about managing fluid and electrolyte imbalance. Sometimes they prescribe measures for that.

I’ve been on this for a while and the worst for me has been the muscle and joint pain. It was so bad at times I could hardly walk. My doc suggested some physical therapy and pain meds, which helped a lot. Just be patient, and talk to your team to find what works for you.

Exactly what I needed to hear. I've had some problems with bone pain, but this has made me realize it's part of the process. Thanks for sharing, everyone.
