Posaconazole 18mg/ml Sdv, 16.7ml is an antifungal medicine used to treat or prevent serious fungal infections, especially in people with weakened immune systems. I was prescribed this medication after a severe fungal infection post-surgery, and I've been taking it as directed for the past few weeks. It's been effective so far, but I've noticed some side effects that I didn't expect. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What should I do if the side effects become unbearable?

I remember seeing reports of liver issues with this medication. If you notice any signs like dark urine or yellowing of the skin, get to a doctor immediately, don’t wait.

I’ve heard that it can also cause heart problems. If you feel dizzy or have a weird heartbeat, you should get checked out ASAP.

I had a bad reaction to this drug. I got a rash and some breathing issues. I will be switching to something else.

Hope you feel better soon! Make sure to consult your doctor about adjusting the dosage or switching medications if the side effects are too much to handle.

I experienced some muscle cramps and weakness. My doctor recommended lots of electrolytes but it didn’t help much.

Wow, that’s a lot of side effects to manage. Have you considered talking to your doctor about switching to a different antifungal? There are plenty of other options out there.
