I was prescribed Pred Forte 1% Opth Susp 15ml for my eye inflammation after a minor injury, and I'm curious about others' experiences with this medication. It's designed to reduce swelling, redness, and irritation, but I'm afraid of the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like changes in eyesight or severe irritation. Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? How can you tell if it's just a minor irritation or something more serious? I’m also wondering how quickly people saw improvement in their symptoms. Any tips on how to manage any side effects that might come up? I’ve read that burning or stinging can be common, so I’m prepared for that, but what about other potential issues? Does anyone know if there's a way to minimize the risk of these side effects, or should I just be prepared for the worst? Also how do you know if it's really working or if you need to talk to your doctor about other options? Thanks everyone!

I've been using Pred Forte for a while now, and while there was some initial discomfort, it really helped with the swelling and redness. Just remember to follow the dosage instructions carefully.

Reporting side effects to the FDA is a great idea. I never thought of doing that, but it's important for others to know about potential issues.

If you experience any severe side effects, don't wait. The allergy symptoms can escalate quickly. And trust me, you don't want to end up in the hospital because of delayed treatment.

If you feel like something is in your eye, it might just be the drops. But if you also have other symptoms like changes in vision, then get to the doctor right away. Beyond that, it helped me a lot.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a really bad allergic reaction to it. Got hives and everything. If you feel even a little off, stop using it and call your doctor instantly.

I swear, the taste change was the weirdest thing. Everything tasted like metal, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. But otherwise, the drops worked well.

I had a similar experience. I thought it might be just a reaction to the eye drops, but the pain got so bad I ended up in the ER. I couldn't open my eyes. Turned out it was some kind of bacterial infection. So glad I didn't try to tough it out. Just get checked out to be sure.

For sure be careful with the burning or stinging. I thought it was normal, but the doctor said it was actually a sign of irritation. Use the eye drops as directed and make sure your hands are clean when applying them.

The FDA website is super easy to use for reporting side effects. I had a headache that lasted for days, and they were really helpful in logging it.
