I was recently prescribed Prednisolone ODT 30mg Tablets for my severe asthma. The orally disintegrating tablet form is convenient, dissolving quickly in my mouth without needing water. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What were your experiences, particularly with the serious side effects listed? I'm wondering if there are any tips for managing the side effects or if anyone has had any long-term issues. I would also like to know if anyone has had issues with withdrawal symptoms after stopping the medication since my prescription is only short-term. I've read that this can be a problem for some, and I want to be prepared.

These are very useful for severe inflammation. I recommend having regular check-ups and getting blood tests to check your blood sugar levels. Prednisolone can cause high blood sugar and it's important to catch it early.

This medication is a lifesaver for my severe allergies. However, you need to be very careful with the dosage. I've had friends who experienced severe side effects like Cushing's syndrome and adrenal insufficiency. Always follow your doctor's instructions and never self-adjust your dose.

I was on Prednisolone for a while due to an allergic reaction. The side effects were tough, especially the mood swings and increased appetite. I gained quite a bit of weight, which was frustrating. Make sure to monitor your diet closely and stay active.

Hey, I'm on these for my rheumatoid arthritis. Just a heads up, the side effects are real, but the relief from the joint pain is worth it. Just be careful about the fluid retention, can get uncomfortable.

I've taken these before and the weight gain was real. But it's worth it if it helps with your condition. Just be prepared to deal with it once you stop taking them.

I'm on Prednisolone for arthritis. The worst part for me was the weight gain and the moon face. It's important to stay hydrated and eat healthily. I found that low-impact exercises like swimming and yoga helped a lot with the joint pain and general discomfort.
