Prezista 800mg Tablets: My Experience and Concerns about Side Effects
I recently started taking Prezista 800mg Tablets, also known as darunavir. I've been on it for about a month, and I have to say there are some interesting side effects that I've noticed. The most concerning ones are changes in body fat, muscle pain and headaches. Not the worst but still not great. I'm a bit nervous about the rare but severe side effects, too. Does anyone else have any advice or stories to share about taking Prezista? I'd love to hear from others who have gone through this.

This is something to bring up with your doctor. But I know changes in body fat distribution can be a bit alarming, but it's common with some HIV meds. I had to switch to a different drug in the same class and that helped me a lot. Your doc may need to run some blood tests to see what's going on.
I've heard that Prezista can cause high blood sugar. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried about developing diabetes on top of everything else.
Prezista worked really well for me in managing my viral load. The headaches were a bit of a hassle, but they went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and talk to your doctor if anything feels off!
Definitely keep an eye out for any signs of liver problems. I had a friend who had to switch off Prezista because of some liver issues.
The side effects are rough, but it's worth it to keep the virus in check. I would recommend taking it with food to help with the stomach issues. Happy to help
I think the side effects are a small price to pay for keeping the virus under control. I'd rather deal with some headaches and stomach issues than risk my immune system getting worse.
