I was recently prescribed Prialt for chronic pain, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. It's injected directly into the spinal fluid, which is a bit intimidating at first, but the relief it provides is worth it. I've tried other pain meds, including opioids, but nothing has worked as effectively. However, I've heard some scary stories about the side effects. Has anyone else had experience with Prialt? How has it worked for you, and did you encounter any severe side effects?

I had Prialt for a few months, and it was a nightmare. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing. Ended up in the ER. Not worth it for me.

I wish I could find a doctor who would prescribe Prialt to me. I've had chronic pain for years and nothing has worked. I’m desperate to try it.

I've been on Prialt for about a year now, and while it's helped with the pain, the side effects can be brutal. I've had dizzy spells and muscle weakness, but nothing life-threatening. It's a trade-off, but for me, it's worth it.

I've had severe side effects from Prialt, including changes in balance and difficulty passing urine. It's been a nightmare. I've been hospitalised twice since starting it.

I had Prialt for a while, and it was great for the pain, but the injections were so invasive and hard to take. I ended up switching back to oral meds.

I think Prialt is amazing. The side effects are manageable and it’s so much better than opioids. Opioids made me feel like a zombie.

My friend had Prialt and he got pneumonia. He was in a bad way for a few months. It's scary stuff.

Be careful with Prialt. I know someone who had seizures and ended up in the hospital. It's a powerful drug, but the risks are real.

Has anyone else noticed that Prialt makes you feel really sluggish and weird? I've had to get used to it.

I've been on Prialt for a few weeks now and so far, it's been a breeze. The injections are a bit nerve-wracking, but the pain relief is massive. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
