I've been on Pristiq 25mg for about six months now, and I've had a mix of positive and negative experiences. Initially, it helped a lot with my depression, but I've had some side effects that I'm not sure how to manage. I've read about some pretty severe side effects, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. Also, I'd love to hear from people who have successfully managed the side effects.

Give it a shot. I was really down before Pristiq, and now I feel like I can actually enjoy life again. Don't let the side effects scare you off, but if they're bad, talk to your doctor.

I switched from another antidepressant to Pristiq and the difference is night and day. I feel so much better, but the drowsiness is a real pain. I've had to adjust my schedule to accommodate it.

I had some crazy hallucinations a few weeks into taking Pristiq. It was terrifying, and my doctor had to switch me to something else. Be careful and keep an eye out for any serious symptoms.

I found that taking Pristiq with food really helped with the nausea and upset stomach. If you're struggling with those side effects, that might help.

I've been on Pristiq for about a year now, and I've had some minor side effects like dizziness and insomnia, but nothing too severe. It's definitely helped with my depression though. Give it some time, and if the side effects are too much, talk to your doctor. They might be able to adjust your dose.

I was really hesitant to start Pristiq because of the potential side effects, but my doctor assured me that most people tolerate it well. I've been lucky so far; the only issue I've had is a dry mouth, which is pretty manageable.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the serotonin syndrome risk. It's a serious condition, and it's important to know the symptoms.
